The 2026 Oscar nominations have finally been announced on January 22, and this year’s list is packed with standout films, powerhouse performances, and a few surprising entries. The Academy’s selections highlight a diverse range of storytelling, from intense dramas and historical epics to genre-defying thrillers and animated favourites.
The 98th Academy Awards will take place on March 15, 2026, at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles. Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the ceremony will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu starting at 7 p.m. ET.
