BTS’ Comeback Album & World Tour Expected in 2026.

Are We Ready for BTS’ Comeback This Year?

ARMY, it’s finally happening! BIGHIT MUSIC has officially confirmed what’s been on every group chat timeline: BTS are returning as a full group with BTS The 5th Album—and a world tour comeback will follow in 2026. According to Lee Hwa Jung, a researcher at NH Investment & Securities, their comeback will bring a big boost to HYBE’s sales, with the scale of the concerts and ticket sales set to skyrocket.

While other HYBE artists like SEVENTEEN, ENHYPEN, and TXT keep releasing music and staying active, fans still feel BTS’ absence as a full group. Once BTS reunite, analysts expect HYBE’s profits to surge. No wonder this news has ARMYs (and pretty much everyone else online) going wild.

Reuniting in 2026: BTS back together after military service

BTS’ enlistment era has been long, emotional, and honestly kind of surreal. Jin and J-Hope have already completed their service (Jin in June 2024, J-Hope in October), and the rest of the members—SUGA, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook—are all done by June 2025.

What to expect in the BTS comeback album

According to BIGHIT MUSIC, BTS The 5th Album isn’t just a new release—it’s a project with a lot of meaning. It marks BTS’ first group album in three years and nine months, and the group uses it to show where they’re headed next. With 14 tracks, BTS fills the album with honest stories they want to tell ARMY directly—like a heartfelt “thank you for staying” in album form.

When Is the BTS Concert Tour 2026?

Even though BIGHIT MUSIC hasn’t released the full list of cities and dates for the BTS comeback concert 2026 yet. The company confirmed it will announce the tour schedule separately on January 14 at 12 a.m, according to their first announcement on Weverse.

BTS Members’ Achievements

And, it’s been a while since the first K-pop act to be nominated for GRAMMY released anything as a group (their last album Proof was in 2022), but they’ve been making waves as solo artists:
 • Jin dropped his first solo album; Happy.
 • SUGA gave us his debut studio album; D-DAY in 2023.
 • J-Hope released; HOPE ON THE STREET Vol.1 earlier this year.
 • RM and Jimin both put out their second solo albums—Right Place, Wrong Person and MUSE.
 • V released three singles in 2024—FRI(END)S, Winter Ahead, and White Christmas.
 • Jungkook’s debut album GOLDEN came out in 2023, and last week, he even surprised fans with a record-breaking Weverse live in his new house while on a break during his military service.

J-hope talks about this in Weverse Magazine interview:

— “There are certainly things we need to do as BTS. When we’re all back together as a group, it’s going to have a huge impact, and everybody’s going to be watching. I’m excited to see what it’ll feel like when we perform together again. I want to come back in style and say, “This is us. This is BTS.” I can’t speak for everyone, but I can tell you the other members feel the same way. What hasn’t changed is that I really, really love to do it.”
