From 3 to 8 September 2025, ZALORA, in partnership with KKday, turned this cinematic vibe into reality by bringing fashion and travel together in one unforgettable journey.

Featuring four trendsetting KOLs —Mathilda Huang (@mathildaaaa), Kimberly Chan (@chankimberly), Novita Lam (@novitalam) and Mongchin Yeoh (@mongabong), the trip became a diary of style and discovery. So are you ready to see how fashion and travel intertwine in this story? Keep reading as we take you through our journey in: Styled in Taiwan with KKday.

Day 1 – Touchdown in Taipei

We arrived at Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport after a smooth airport transfer and excited to capture new moments. Despite the long flight, Mongchin, Novita, and Kimberly looked chic in comfy athleisure. Proof that travel comfort and fashion can go hand in hand.

From there, we headed to Parkview Taipei Hotel, our home for the week. Sleek interiors and a warm welcome gave us the perfect reset. It was the calm we needed before exploring Taiwan’s vibrant streets and scenic wonders the next day.

Day 2 – Taipingshan Tour

Our first full day in Taiwan began with fresh mountain air at Taipingshan National Forest Recreation Area. It is one of the country’s most scenic escapes. With our KKday ticket, we enjoyed the charming Bong Bong Train ride, a walk along the Jianqing Historic Trail, and a visit to the famous hot springs.

We hopped aboard the iconic Bong Bong Train, its bright cars rolling through misty greenery. Fashion-wise, the vibe was cozy and chic. Our KOLs wore casual earth-tone outfits—perfect for staying warm and looking beautiful on Instagram.

Later in the evening, we returned to the city and had our dinner at a Jinchufa Beef Restaurant, a shop with over three centuries of history. After dinner, we head to the Taipei 101 Observatory. We made a stop at the Zhucun Izakaya restaurant, a popular spot for photos with the tower glowing in the background. Our KOLs swapped earthy mountain tones for elevated city glam. Polished silhouettes matched the glittering skyline. To end the night, we grabbed bubble tea—the perfect sweet pick-me-up after a full day.

Day 3 : Heritage Visits at Longshan Temple City

Day three was all about soaking in Taipei’s cultural charm and buzzing city life. We made our way to Longshan Temple Station, one of the city’s most visited stops and historic temple built in 1738. The temple stands as the spiritual heart of Taipei and a remarkable showcase of classical Taiwanese architecture, blending Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucian element. Beyond the temple grounds, the surrounding area added another layer of excitement—its lively streets filled with bustling shops, fortune tellers, and sizzling food stalls. Then we wandered over to The Red House in Ximending, where street culture takes over.

After exploring temples and the artsy Red House, we recharged with a hearty lunch at Moon Moon Food-Michelin Bib before slipping into Taipei’s chic side with boutique-hopping in Zhongshan. Our KOLs outfits softened into easy elegance—light blouses, structured totes, and vibrant colours—perfect for wandering through shops and cafés. Of course, no Taipei day is complete without a caffeine fix, so we stopped at Matcha One Café for a matcha pick-me-up.

We ended the day with a comforting dinner at Kuo Zang Mini Hot Pot in New Taipei City, a halal-friendly spot where bubbling pots and warm conversations created the perfect conclusion to our cultural and culinary adventures.

Day 4 : Natural Wonders of Yehliu, Shifen and Jiufen

The highlight reel of Taiwan often features these iconic spots, and our KOLs made them their runway. Another early start hopping on KKday Tour Bus from Taipei Main Station for the North Coast Tour.

Our first stop was Yehliu Geopark, where the sun blazed down but a breezy coastal wind kept us moving. The surreal rock formations were the perfect backdrop for breezy sundresses, oversized shades, and sun hats.

Then, we off to Shifen Waterfall, often called the “Little Niagara of Taiwan.” At 20 meters tall and 40 meters wide, it’s the island’s broadest waterfall, and its powerful cascade creates a misty veil that feels both refreshing and dramatic.

We ended the day by wandering through the magical alleys of Jiufen, where the lantern-lit streets set the perfect scene to release our own sky lanterns. Once we arrived at the lantern station, each of us picked a lantern and carefully wrote down our wishes and dreams on its bright paper panels—some personal, some playful, all filled with hope. Soon after, with the soft glow of candles inside, the lanterns slowly lifted into the night sky, joining dozens of others that floated like stars above Jiufen’s misty hills.

Day 5 at Taichung

On day 5, the journey south to Taichung brought playful vibes to the forefront. Our morning started with something quirky at the Disgusting Food Museum in Songshan Cultural and Creative Park. We sampled a few of the infamous dishes—some hilarious, others truly questionable—and left with plenty of laughs.

Afterward, we hopped on the High Speed Rail to Taichung, where colour awaited us in every corner. Our first stop, the enchanting Rainbow Village, felt like walking through a painting come to life. Splashes of red, yellow, blue, and green covered the walls, and our KOLs matched the mood with vibrant prints, colour-block accessories, and statement sneakers. Every step turned into an Instagram-worthy shot, like a live runway bursting with joy.

As the afternoon rolled in, the energy softened when we arrived at the Gaomei Wetlands. Famous for its sweeping tidal flats and cinematic sunsets, the landscape called for a different kind of look—romantic and breezy. It was raining when we reached there. When the sun dipped low, painting the sky gold and reflecting off the water, it became one of the most unforgettable moments of the trip—a quiet, magical close to a colourful day.
