The talented singer-songwriter has four solo, sold-out concerts at Singapore’s Esplanade Recital Studio, and a #1 debut album on the HMV charts, under his belt. His versatility extends his musical contributions to include critically acclaimed musical theatre productions of Spring Awakening and Next to Normal. Known for his youthful boy-next-door charm and soothing melodies, Nathan Hartono has been in the local music scene since 2005.


The Indonesian-Chinese singer is born and raised in Singapore, and debuted after winning the 2005 Teenage Icon singing competition. He has since performed for high-profile national events such as the Asian Youth Games, Youth Olympics, APEC 2013, Mosaic Music Festival and the Singaporean National Day Parade.


His debut album was called LET ME SING! Life, Love and All That Jazz, and two weeks as the number one album on HMV’s Jazz Chart. So popular is he, the talented singer-songwriter had four solo, sold-out concerts at Singapore’s Esplanade Recital Studio, and a #1 debut album on the HMV charts.


He released the jazz album Feeling Good - with Nathan Hartono in 2011. His third album, released in 2012, was a departure from his usual jazz work, exploring acoustic pop and folk style. Nathan’s latest single, Thinkin Bout Love, has just been released on iTunes.


His vocal versatility saw him performing in Pangdemonium's stage production of Spring Awakening, opposite Julia Abueva. He was nominated for an ELLE Award 2012 for his performance in the critically acclaimed musical theatre production, as well as a subsequent stint in another musical Next to Normal. Talk about a multitalented looker!


True to his image, Nathan prefers the natural and fresh, but masculine, look, opting for fuss-free but smart outfits that involve slim-cut jeans and casual t-shirts.
