Ming Bridges for ZALORA Singapore

You’re probably no stranger to the name Ming Bridges. After all, the doll-faced beauty has made waves ever since her hit single "有些男孩不能爱" ("Some Guys") made multiple music charts in 2012.

Prior to debuting as a singer in 2011, the 21-year-old Australian-born/England-raised/Singapore-based singer-songwriter was a teen model and actress, taking up roles in Okto channel’s Kids Central and Channel 5’s drama series Red Thread. She briefly attended King's College London, studying business management before deciding to defer her studies in pursuit of a music career. Her risk-taking paid off, as her career is advancing by leaps and bounds. She received the 2012 Music Act of the Year award from Elle magazine Singapore and two awards at the 2013 Singapore Entertainment Awards, for Best Local Singer and Best Local Album for her first full-length Mandarin album 明天Ming Day. Beyond winning over Singapore with her sweet pure vocals and personable disposition, Ming has also gained a tremendous presence in Taiwan with Ming Day, which moved up Taiwan’s prestigious G-Music charts to a Top 10 position.

Her recently released album MORPHOSIS presents an edgier, more mature version of herself. MORPHOSIS is Ming’s first English album, featuring songs on summer love, strength and independence in relationships. Like her music, her personal style is in constant evolution, circling around sweet girly skirts and dresses to sneakers and shorts that show off her toned gams.
