Singapore’s very own YouTube star Cilla Chan is known for her bubbly personality and powerhouse voice.

A recent Stanford graduate, the multi-talented Cilla also most recently made us proud as the first Singapore-born singer to make it through the blind auditions, to Team Blake, on the American reality TV singing competition The Voice. She had also been a featured artist on Grammy-nominated Corrine Bailey Rae’s website.

She has since released her first single Tell Me How to Make Believe alongside a Christmas EP in December 2013.

Cilla Chan - Singapore’s next Youtube sensation

The name Cilla Chan might not be completely foreign to you. At the age of 22, Cilla Chan has put Singapore on the musical map. The songbird was the first Singapore-born performer to make it onto the reality singing competition The Voice. For her audition, she sang a stripped-down arrangement of Selena Gomez's Come & Get It. A week after she graduated from the prestigious Stanford University with a degree in human biology and economics, she was whisked away to the auditions for The Voice. Later, the Singapore Permanent Resident and American citizen was picked by country music superstar Blake Shelton, a coach and judge on the show, to be part of his team.


Known for her bubbly personality and powerhouse voice, Cilla has also been a featured artist on Grammy-nominated Corrine Bailey Rae’s website. She has since released her first singleTell Me How to Make Believe alongside a Christmas EP in December 2013. The multitalented performer is also dubbed Singapore’s next Youtube sensation with her ownYoutube channel that has garnered close to 16,000 subscriptions at last count. There she posts videos of covers including Ed Sheeran’s The A Team and Maroon 5 and Christina Arguilera’s Moves Like Jagger, as well as duets with fellow singers like Nathan Hartono and her siblings, Howard, 16, and Pamela, 17.


With more projects in the works, Cilla is set to take the world by storm, and we have our eyes set on this rising star!
